Another chit chat - Baking for Hari Raya

Lisa is excited for Raya and she has been counting the days. She loves 'baking and helping out' in the kitchen. She said to me "Mama, when I grow up I want to own a bakery shop". I asked her back, "Only own it? So you are not going to bake too?"..and she replied," Aah yes..that too, I will bake with Acik and we will make lots of money." (Acik is her brother who also enjoys 'helping' in the kitchen).

CHIT-CHAT - Closed for a day..

Assalamualaikum and Hi All!

Sorry we could'nt entertain customers for the whole day yesterday (Thursday). Why?? Well, we had a little fire on Wednesday night!! Our fuse box was on fire that night. It happened around 10pm, when I was ready to watch CSI:Miami when I suddenly smell smoke and to my horror saw the fuse box was smoking. When my hubby opened the box..major horror (sampai telangap mulut and telumpat-lumpat)...there was fire!! We got everybody out and called the Fire Dept..who came very fast and was in full gear!hehehe..My kids were excited instead, to see the fire engine and all! To cut the story short, luckily the fire stopped and only the fuse box was badly burnt (VS and BBW stuff were all alright:)...heheh)

So we didnt have any power supply the whole day yesterday..and that is why we couldnt entertain customers (however, a few still insisted to come and said that they didnt mind the mess and the heat in the house) and I couldnt update the blog too so there are items which are already unavailable.

Now we have our newly installed fuse box (pic shown here), thanks to Mr. Ang and team of AES Engineering..they worked really fast yesterday in getting our power supply in time for sungkai. So that is the story..hehehe...
