Lampe Berger - New stock of oils are here again!

Hi everyone,

As you may noticed, I like nice smelling stuff, be it for my body or room or anything... I just like things to smell nice and pleasant. I have been using Lampe Berger since 2001, unlike any other system, which merely masks odours, the Lampe Berger diffusion system makes it possible to destroy, by catalytic oxidation, the molecules causing the odors of tobacco, cooking, and other domestic odors. Essentially, the heat developed by the catalysis attracts odor molecules to it, and then breaks them down. The catalyst of the burner supports the oxidation of these molecule and prevents them from recombining. It successfully eliminates smoke odour (including from smoking), cooking odour, pet odour and other household odour.

At the shop we are stocking some scents and we sold out all of them during the Hari Raya festive last month. So now we have restock them again. We have these oils in stock now:

EUCALYPTUS
CHANT DE LAVANDE (Lavender)
POMMES DU VERGER (Green Apple)
THE VERT (Green Tea)
ROSEE DE ROSE (Rose Iris)
BOIS DE SANTAL (Sandalwood)

For those who are still wondering what Lampe Berger (LB) is about..here I'm giving you some brief information on what is LB and what it does.

LB's fragrance lampes
The Fragrance lamps were invented in 1898 by a French pharmaceutical chemist called Maurice Berger in Paris. They were finitially used to purify the air in hospitals and later entered the domestic market through an association with his company Lampe Berger and the fancy glass bottle makers of the era such as Lalique and Baccarat. The lamp can eliminate up to 68% of any airborne bacteria before it disperses a fragrance in the air.
The functions of a Lampe Berger

    1. Destruction of Odors
    2. Purification of The Air
    3. Fragrancing

How does it work?

The three functions are performed simultaneously within the burner:

The perfume evaporates and the air is purified in a lower temperature zone at the center of the burner. The mixing of the air and the movement from convection due to the presence of hot points on the burner ensure that odors are destroyed in a large volume of air.

How easy is it to use a Lampe Berger Fragrance Lampe?

The Lampe Berger comes with simple instructions and is safe to use. Just add fragrance, then insert the wick/burner, and allow the wick to soak for 20 minutes. Light the burner for two minutes and extinguish.

After the purifying process occurs, the fragrance then disperses into the air. 45 minutes are all that is necessary to fragrance a room of up to 300 square feet. To stop the fragrance process, simply cap off the wick/burner.
